Friendly campsite with Spanish ambiance. Good restaurant with pavement café. 3 km from lovely little town Comillas with culture (Gaudí), beaches and boulevards. Possible day trips: a visit to the imposing Picos de Europa, the historic town of Santillana del Mar or the caves of Altamira.

Travelling party: Couple

Really nice site with very clean showers and toilets. Pitches of a good size and given a choice. Comillas about a 20 minute cycle ride away, mainly along quiet roads.

2nd time we have stayed here,good access for large units,ideal for Santander ferry, and pretty much agree with all the latest reviews. The only downside is this campsite along with others in Spain has failed to get to grips with E scooter racing on the access roads! It’s all very fine restricting cars to low speed limits on site then ignoring scooters travelling at 30+ mph day and night , just saying.

Great location, pools on site but also on Camino pilgrimage trail and walkable to local beaches (better by bike/car with children). Great for kids (can be noisy at weekends). pitches packed in but not a problem in off season.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful. Toilets / showers very clean.  Small but functional supermarket. Pitches were long and a reasonable size. Some a bit narrow, but more than adequate for us. Would definitely stay again.
