Camping Fabulous is located between Rome and the beach at Lido di Ostia. The campsite offers every comfort and two large swimming pools. There is a go-cart track, ice cream salon and a good restaurant. Excursions are organised regularly. There is also an indoor miniclub.

Travelling party: Couple

Very busy site - seems to be constant traffic driving along the roads by the camping.
Showers looked good but only 1 small hook and busy, even in the mornings when usually it is the best & least busy time for a shower. Water ran hot, then cold, then hot etc:-.
Tree sap made such a mess of the camper, table, chairs I think I\'ll still be cleaning for the rest of the holiday.
Pool looks great but again, so busy!

Travelling party: Couple

If you want a site with everything then this is it. However, that\'s ok if you dont want to go out at all. Would be great as a family with children. Close enough to get to Rome by bus and metro (although be prepared for long delays on bus if you time it wrong), but no where else to get to without moped or car.
Would probably be awful if full, as noisy and busy even now in June, both in the pools and children and school trips out until 1am making a lot of noise.
Staff are nice and helpful. Facilities excellent (nowhere for grey waste unless you move out of the site) Pools lovely and big, plenty of beds and shades. Pitches with plenty of shade.
Shame about what looks like full time pitches area, they are plonked in the middle of beautifully laid out sight with mixture of pitches, pods, safari tents and bungalows, and resembles a shanty town.
Would be expensive without ACSI card.

Great campsite especially if you have kids, which ours is now grown up! Great location for going into Rome, bus stop just outside on main road. Didn’t eat in restaurant, but had a takeaway, no cooked chickens! pizza and salad was lovely. Shop on site. Pool area is fantastic. Staff, toilets and general area was excellent. Will stop again.
