this should have been heavenly with the sound of the waves, the proximity of the beach and Almeria and it was initially.
However the buses were unreliable, the sea had poo floating in it and worse was the fact that people were throwing their chemical waste in a drain 1ft away from the fountain with drinking water in therefore the loo block smelled appalling. v disappointing

Someone on another app describe the site as Marmite and I can see why, dated site and the pitches are very tight for a 7.4 m/h roads were slightly noisy and wouldn’t say this was one of the best sites we’ve stopped at but so far the dearest not that I’m complaining however we found the female staff very helpful and friendly and the views are good both to and from the site and on site,certainly wouldn’t rush back and the pitches looking over the sea are not ACSI….but as I’ve said Marmite….

The campsite is right next to the small beach. It has an ambiance all of its own, not at all pretentious, we loved it.
It is quite awkward to get onto the pitches, persevere and you will be rewarded. Our van is 7 metres and we parked sideways over 2 pitches.
There is a bar/restaurant that does a 3 course menu del dia. There are buses that go to Almeria that stop outside the site.
Our dog loved swimming in the sea and
we loved the climbing crag that was within walking distance.

What a lovely, quaint campsite right on a quiet cove with beach. Not far from Almerìa by either car or bus and very near to Tabernas Desert and Fort Bravo, a must to visit. Watch the tight bends into and on site, drive onto beach to leave, it’s easier. Only 2 nights this time, but we’ll be back.

Fantastic campsite, on the beach and you can feel its long history. Showers hot and all very clean. Lovely location and easy to get the bus into Almeria - a very interesting city. The on site restaurant is excellent value. The gambas were superb! For anything over 8M you might struggle!

We really wanted to like this site but were disappointed. The man who came to the reception when I rang the bell was not very friendly especially when I produced my ACSI card. assigned a pitch with no choice and told not to move. was close enough to beach. Staff in bar were friendly with fresh bread in the morning. The bus to Almeria is convenient and excellent but the site is isolated unless you drive and difficult walking no longer our thing. (sadly). Being winter and cloudy did not help and a lot of dogs using the beach as a toilet - blame the owners. Facilities are dated and nowhere in the cubicle to hang clothes in men’s showers. Do not think we will return not least as it was more expensive than 2 other sites in the area in better locations and far superior facilities

Dog poo everywhere, on the pitch (we had to scoop a few before we could pitch up our tent..), on the road, on the beach.. Dogs walking free everywhere. It really destroyed our stay. Such a shame as it could be a beautiful campsite, it\'s beautifully situated. We had a pitch near the back (away from the sea) which is close to the road, the road noise kept us awake at night. I guess this could be less of a nuisance if you\'re in a camper or caravan and if you have a pitch closer to the sea though. Small pitches and quite smelly toilet facilities. We will not be coming back here.

A lovely situated campsite. Toilets/showers clean with lots of hot water. Site staff helpful and friendly. The perfect place to unwind and relax. We had a wonderful three days. Did not try the restaurant but those that did said it was a limited menu, however the food was excellent.

This camp site is a bit awkward to get to but is worth the effort. Site good facilities good. located at beach shore. Food drink good quality and affordable?

very quaint site, interesting layout in steep valley to the sea. pitches are assorted sizes with shade over most of them. extremely helpful staff, with good English. Bus stop on main road above site to Almeria one way and Aguadulce/ Roquetas del Mar in other direction. Some road noise but also sea. We enjoyed our stay. Take care when coming from Almeria as the road splits and you need to take the left hand tunnel towards Aguadulce..
