A friendly family campsite in the Gurgeltal valley with plenty of fruit trees and a babbling brook. Surrounded by woods and meadows. Campsite is located at the foot of the Fern Pass. Plenty of sports facilities in the vicinity. The tourist tax (€3 pp) you pay gives you discounts in the region.

Travelling party: Couple

Overnight stop in low season so not all facilities open. Beautiful location just above the village. Nice local walks. Quiet. Would definitely return and spends a few days here…

A great campsite in the heart of the mountains. I received a very warm welcome at the bar and was told to find a pitch and check-in later at the new reception building. There is a lot of outdoor activity (cycling, walking, climbing, and via ferratas) on the doorstep and if you stay 3 days or more, you get a guest card which gives local discounts and free travel on transport in the area, including the cable car in Imst.
