Travelling party: Couple

Rommelige camping. Overal ligt oude rommel en staan er vervallen accomodaties. Smalle toegangsweg en heel smalle paadjes op de camping echt niet geschikt voor grote caravans. maar als dan ‘s morgens het zonnetje mooi op het vennetje schijnt ben je alles weer vergeten. Sanitair eenvoudig maar wel schoon, evenals de afwasplek. Wat wel goed onderhouden was, was het speeltuintje. De weg vanaf afslag 52 was erg hobbelig en vol gaten, de weg naar de snelweg richting Luxemburg was een stuk beter.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Jammer genoeg wordt op verschillende websites met de reviews geknoeid. Deze camping is nl de titel van camping niet waard. Het is een donkere, vuile stortplaats van vervallen circustrailers en beschimmeld vuil zoals matrassen en afgedankt meubilair. Het sanitair blok stort bij de volgende regenbui in mekaar en heeft slechts 2 vuile toiletten en 2 douches (waarvoor je bovendien nog per minuut water wordt aangerekend!). De uitbaters zijn 2 mensenschuwe, wereldvreemde, onvriendelijke vrekken die er enkel op uit zijn je zoveel mogelijk geld afhandig te maken bij je wss zeer korte en eenmalige verblijf. De hele camping en omgeving ademt een kilheid uit, we zijn dan ook vroeger vertrokken dan we geboekt hadden. Uiteraard werd onze waarborg voor de douchekaarten die we wel hadden afgegeven niet teruggestort. Wees gewaarschuwd, hier wil je je kostbare vakantiedagen niet spenderen.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Het was echt even wennen. Het leek erop alsof we teruggingen in de tijd. Een wat rommelig ogende eerste indruk met veel te smalle oprit voor een gemiddelde caravan. Ook de weg en de toegang tot de plaats was te smal. We hebben eerst gesnoeid en toen met behulp van de tractor van de campingbaas de caravan geplaatst op een plek met veel hoogteverschil en 10 cm zand/losse klei. Niet al het sanitair was bruikbaar en het aantal voorzieningen is laag. Wel goede coronamaatregelen, zoals mondkapjes plicht en desinfectie. De eerste avonden waren er muzikanten. Leuk voor hen om samen te zingen, maar wij hadden niet veel zin om te luisteren. Ook de kinderen waren luidruchtig in hun spel tot 23 uur.
Maar toch: de kampeerders leken gelukkig en relaxed. En ook wij waren veel meer ontspannen gaandeweg. De camping is een goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie en lange wandelingen, een bezoek aan Bastogne en terug op de camping vissen, zwemmen en spelen. Alles wat nodig is voor een fijne tijd.
