Travelling party: Couple

We stayed here 5 nights (1 more than we originally planned). Lovely setting, with river all around, it’s too shallow for swimming. Our motorhome is 8 m long with bikes, ok to get in and out. Lots of walking and bike routes nearby. Timed shower card gives you 3 minutes pp a day, water was hot. All pitches have electricity - 6 amp or 1300 w so check your appliances such as kettles, hair dryers etc. Would happily stay again if we were in the area.

Travelling party: Couple

This is a beautiful campsite on an island in the river with woodland and wildlife all around.

The pitches are large and the toilet and washing up facilities are excellent.

There’s a walk from the site up through the woods to rocks with an amazing view of the valley. This was perfect for the dog to run off lead.

There’s a lovely bar on site but with limited food, we did eat at the village restaurant Le Vieux Moulin(?) and the food was superb.

Highly recommend this campsite.
