The campsite is made up of a dense pine wood and a terraced section with hardly any shade. Good toilet facilities. The lively town of Novigrad is within walking distance of the campsite. Big site very popular with German and Austrian families. Plenty of shade or not depending on your preference. Four sanitation blocks all excellent although push button showers are annoyingly brief and lack force. Nearby Novigrad is nice and an easy walk. The two hotels also on the site have some entertainment and late night bars - beach bar at the campsite closes at 7pm and restaurant 9pm. It’s a very expensive site and no discount available when we visited during German school holiday period in May. Barking dogs were a problem but nothing was done about their irresponsible owners. There is a tiny shop on site with some basics but the nearest supermarkets (2) are about a 15 min walk away. I’d return but only with ACSI discount and outside the school holiday period.

Wir besuchen den Platz seit mehreren Jahren wegen der Nähe zu Novigrad. Diesmal war der Platz brechend voll. Der grösste Teil der CC ACSI-Plätze war geblockt für Reservierungen. Nachdem wir mehrere Stunden gewartet hatten, hatten wir Glück und bekamen noch einen ACSI Platz. Wir gehen davon aus, dass das in Zukunft immer so sein wird. Erst ab Ende Septemer waren wieder mehrere Plätze frei.
