Travelling party: Seniors

We kenden deze camping heel goed van vroeger, toen we er meermalen met ons gezin kwamen. Het was toen nog een gemeentelijke camping maar altijd goed onderhouden, gezellige activiteiten en een prima sfeer. Misschien kwam het omdat we nu wat vroeg in het seizoen kwamen of door een wat miezerig weer, maar het oogde wat troosteloos, met slechts enkele campers / caravans op het terrein, gesloten tot 4 uur (!) in de middag en met sanitaire voorzieningen die wat gedateerd waren, al functioneerde alles wel goed. Het groen zag er ook wat slordig onderhouden uit. We vernamen later dat de camping net was over genomen door een nieuwe, particuliere eigenaar. Kortom het viel ons wat tegen, al moet gezegd dat de ligging van deze camping direct aan de prachtige Dordogne een groot voordeel biedt. Ook de omgeving is natuurlijk fantastisch met Sarlat en Souillac goed bereikbaar met afgesloten fietspaden en nog veel meer mooie bezienswaardigheden. En de ACSI-prijs is eigenlijk te laag.

  • A20, after Brive exit 55 towards Souillac. Then the D804 towards Sarlat. At Rouffillac turn left over the bridge. The campsite is directly on the left after the bridge.
