We visited this campsite at the end of their season and they were still working hard to maintain standards. It was our favourite overall campsite of 2023 and by far the best value. The site has been undergoing major refurbishment to an excellent standard. We were given a riverside pitch on the Dordogne close to one of the sanitary blocks which had been refurbished (two of the three blocks had been refurbished at the time of our visit). We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The swimming pools were fabulous with something for everyone who likes water, We weren't able to comment on the food and drink or entertainment categories as we didn't use these facilities. The location itself was outside a small village with some facilities including a station, with a train to Bergerac. We thought it would be a great base for cycling, something which we were unable to do as we had our elderly labrador with us.

You will never beat the location of this campsite in Tremolat. It is absolutely spectacular. The facilities are amazing from the toilet blocks to the swimming pool. The staff were all so helpful and made you feel so welcome. As for the food at the on-site restaurant- incredible.

this is one of the best campsites we have ever stayed on. the price is fantastic for the facilities that are provided. large shady pitches with excellent views of the Dordogne River. excellent swimming pools bar and restaurant. five minute walk into the pretty village of Trémolat with 2/3 different bar brassieres, restaurants and a Village Cafe that had live music and a fish and chip van on the Wednesday night that we were there. water and electric at each pitch

A large, potentially peaceful campsite on the River Dordogne. Previously municipal taken over 3 years ago over by Flower Camping. Sebastian, Estelle and family who manage the site are very nice and helpful. 3 facility blocks - number 3 was the oldest not yet upgraded, we were next to block 1. The shower areas were small with not much separation of wet and dry area, except in those with washbasins. Short push, the thermostats differed in control, too hot or luke warm in another. Only one shower cubicle with washbasin that worked effectively. An inexpensive campsite which attracts large groups and rallies. We were treated to the sound of blaring horns/sirens when the motorcycle section of \'Le Camping Car Club de France\' departed and returned to the site on their daily excursions. The heated swimming pool was open. Being a riverside campsite it is not really suitable for young families. Unfortunately we were disturnbed on our last night by inconsiderate campers on an adjacent pitch who returned around 11/11.30pm and cajoled loudly until 1 am. This was reported to reception who stated that there are rules for quiet after 11pm. Management dealt with this issue. If you want rest and relaxation it may be worth checking before booking that there are no large parties booked onto the site at that time.

This campsite is in a beautiful location, next to a surprisingly quiet stretch of the Dordogne. The pitches are large with plenty of shade, if needed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We are looking forward to returning when the riverside restaurant is open. The delightful village of Tremolat also has a good choice of places to eat.
