Mud bath !
The positives - Good facilities , showers etc all v good , swimming pool good . Didn't use bar / restaurant so can't comment on these facilities
The negatives - our pitch was a mud bath (camping pitches are on the lower part of the site - all very damp ) .
Overpriced. Would we return - no.

Wonderful pool complex and lovely riverside site adjoining the Dordogne. Previously enjoyed time here. Cycling from the campsite and Sarlat only half an hour away. Unfortunately the last three days of our stay we were descended upon by stinkbugs. They don’t bite but get into everything and everywhere. Don’t know if it was caused by the 30° heat but be aware.

Massive campsite in an outstanding location right on the river Dordogne.
sadly it rained throughout our stay so the pitch was just a mud bath. the shower and toilet facilities were ok but only 1 block open and so only 2 toilets available. The showers were hot but push button and were cleaned very rarely throughout the day so not very nice to use due to loads of kids running through and messing about. The majority of pitches are quite away from the toilet shower blocks and all touring pitches were very far from the pool bars and restaurants which were on the other side of the road.

We stayed on this site on 6th October 2022 for one night because it had effectively closed. The closing date is listed as 7th November which meant it should be open for a further full month.
We were told there was no Wi-Fi due apparently to a storm and we were told there was hot water in the shower block but no heating of the room. We accepted this.
But actually,there was no hot water on site at all and we were unable to have a shower in the evening or the following morning.
We had to pay cash in advance and not credit card.
The facilities were unclean,no hand soap. Some toilets had paper,some not. A complete feeling of neglect.
They call themselves a five star site! It doesn’t warrant a 3 star.
The reception girl did not know if the canoe shop was open the following day. She made no effort to find out and the shop actually belongs to the site.
The site should have closed if it was so disinterested in its customers but it still charged us the full price including tourist tax which is the most we’ve paid anywhere for the least facilities. We wanted to stay for the weekend but left the following day.
ACSI should be ashamed to put this site in their book which states all sites are inspected to a good quality. And this site needs to seriously rethink its opening times.
I’ve had to put 1 star for child friendliness,food and drink,sports,pool but as none of them existed I am unable to comment.

A really beautiful campsite with pitches overlooking the banks of the Dordogne river. Staff are super friendly, pitches are flat, shaded and generous in size. Campervan spaces are a bit of a walk away from the main area of activity (reception, pool, bars etc) which suits us well.
Pitches with beach views are more expensive - with an ACSI card for 2 adults and a motorhome with electricity. If you’re happy to have a pitch one back it’ll cost less. we couldn’t resist the riverside plot. The campsite has its own access to the river beach which is a joy in itself. Beautiful towns like Sarlat are a short drive away. Would highly recommend this little slice of heaven.

Awful stay at this very dirty and muddy campsite. All pitches were very muddy and when it rained pedestrian access was flooded and inaccessible. The staff were very unhelpful when we complained and refused to give us a refund when we left early because of the poor state of the pitches. Drinks at the bar were very expensive especially when compared to bars and restaurants in the area. Pool was very crowded with lots of non swimmers hanging around chatting with little room left to actually swim.
