Travelling party: Couple

A wonderful, relaxing stay here with a private pitch behind the restaurant/bar (which was closed at the time) after a day at the Dune de Pilat and driving around the bay of Arcachon. I would definitely come back. To see a video review - search for Menopausal Motorhomer Dune de Pilat on Youtube.

a friendly family run / family orientated campsite. great location - beaches and lakes nearby, perfect for cycling. the pool is spotless and just the right temperature. the pitches are generous and flat with hedging borders. the WiFi is stable and the electricity supply is adequate at 16amps. access on and off site is straightforward and barrier controlled. there are some awesome local eateries and the campsite restaurant is very pleasant. we would highly recommend this site and return regularly.

We really loved this campsite and stayed extra nights as it was so comfortable and friendly and really great location for cycling the bay. . We particularly liked the spotlessly clean toilets, very friendly knowledgeable reception team , great mature grass pitches and lovely pool .

As bar and snacks were not open could not comment apart from being disappointed- when enquired told mid June !! Have stayed at this site before and returned for position of this site for cycling into Ares and lege cap feret facilities are good but found not to be as clean as last time- toilet paper running out and floors required cleaning. just a tadge disappointed
