Located right next to St. Foy-la-Grande on the Dordogne. The popular market has a reputation throughout the region. A hospitable, cozy campsite run by a very friendly English family. Small-scale and tranquil. Beautiful surroundings. Please don't use airconditioning. Reception closed between 12:30h and 14:00h.

Lovely quiet site , walking distance to village & supermarket , Right on the Dordogne , Great showers, all clean & tidy, well maintained site. owner (Simon) always busy . Brilliant off lead spacious well maintained dog field, grass kept short , Free Wifi , secure site.

nice well kept campsite on the side of the river but no direct access ,some pitches are a bit neat if you wanted an awning.
not much open nearby just pizza or kebab
lovely little pool and spotless facilities ,friendly English owner
lots of mature brits on the bigger pitches probably staying longer than us
As we couldn’t sit out at night due to the mosquitoes (really bad on this site) we moved on
great for a quick stopover and if like being with other Brits

Best campsite we stayed at on our 3 weeks mooch around France! Great location near a town with a very good market and some decent restaurants. The owner very friendly and helpful. Would have stayed longer but weather was dreadful so we moved further south! Would definitely return top site!

A return visit to this small and friendly campsite. The staff are always available and helpful, and the site is kept neat and tidy. It is a short walk into the town and supermarkets.
Theswimming pool was under repair on our visit this time. The amenities are basic but satisfactory with plenty of hot water when required. The road surfaces are in need of repair but this did not detract from a very pleasant stay.

We had a really lovely few days here…despite the rain. The site is beautiful maintained and the British family that own the site are so helpful and welcoming. Part of the reason for choosing the site was its close proximity to the places we wanted to visit…Bergerac, Saint Emilion and Bordeaux. We would highly recommend it.

Stayed last spring on returning journey from Spain and enjoyed our stay, so stopped again on our way down this time. It is a small British run site (30yrs), and kept in immaculate condition. Nothing is too much for the owner who is heavily involved in daily chores. The swimming pool is spot on.
Local shops and town centre is a short walk as is a large supermarket. Definitely worth a stop if passing.
