An English family runs this campsite in wooded surroundings near an old water mill. Nice, clean sanitary facilities. Lovely grounds, alternating well and less shaded level pitches. Swimming pool higher up with panoramic views. Opportunities for trout fishing in the lake.

Travelling party: Seniors

This peaceful site has the most friendly and helpful owners we have met in neary forty years touring. The vening meals are exceptionally good value normally served, weather permitting, outside overlooking a very pretty millpond Pitches are spacious and well maintained. Toilet/shower facilitis are rather dated but clean and perfectly functional.

A warm welcome, great little campsite, beautifully kept, pitch’s are a good size for our 8m MH, toilets are a little tired, but clean and work perfectly. Restaurant well worth a try, great food at a reasonable price, fresh bread and pastries can be ordered. Lovely pool to sit around, very peaceful.. dog friendly too, would definitely go back.

lovely site, great relaxing atmosphere- Sue and George work incredibly hard to provide a lovely holiday spot. walking is excellent in the area though be aware that the forest paths are often through deep sand! the facilities are a bit dated but work perfectly well - we had two very nice meals in the restaurant and the pool was lovely. would definitely return if in this area!

Stayed overnight at this delightful gem of a campsite. Quiet and well maintained site. Has a large pond with trout visible. Restaurant pretty good and reasonable price. Toilets as previously stated, a bit dated but perfectly adequate. Hopefully will visit again to explore the lovely countryside around.

Lovely campsite in the countryside, very peaceful despite being close to a main road. very picturesque and quaint and very well maintained. The pitches are a very good size with plenty of room. The toilet and shower block are dated, but all worked well. The swimming pool was lovely and has great views. The restaurant was very good indeed and our meals were delicious. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and work non stop to keep their campsite looking so great.
