outstanding site even in November! clean, hot showers, a well stocked shop and a Gault-Millau listed restaurant- what’s not to love especially as the surrounding area is so good for walking, cycling and climbing. Above what made our stay special were the staff - Victoria and Lauren in particular. so ‘Thank you’!

Very friendly and welcoming receptionist.
Well-stocked little shop
Level pitches
Extremely quiet and peaceful
The toilets were clean and warm (heated).
Some cubicles had both a shower and a toilet, which meant it was difficult to find one empty, even though the occupant was only using one of the two.
We\'d be happy to return.

lovely site in the heart of rural France. This is what France is about. If you want peace and quiet close to the Nivernais canal then come here. Relaxation is the key word. Lovely cycle routes and walking. Friendly staff. If you want discos bars and water slides don\'t come: if you love France this is the spot. JP

This lovely ACSI site was central in an area we had not previously visited.
It turned out to be a wonderful find.
Zac (the owner) and Victoria made us very welcome from the moment we arrived.
We were having a problem with our caravan motor mover and Victoria had reserved a perfect pitch which was easy to reverse into.
Apart from being an attractive site with good facilities, the ultimate bonus is that Zac also runs an award winning restaurant serving lunch and dinner 6 days a week. We ate here several times and the food was absolutely top class.
We met many of the team during our stay and all were friendly and welcoming.
We explored the area and enjoyed visits to surrounding towns and countryside. We no longer cycle, but this location was heaven for those many campers who brought bikes with them - there are miles of cycle paths, many beside the Nivernais canal and rive Yonne.

Quirky little site in a beautiful area. On first arrival at the site we were a little concerned, as it appeared a little shabby. However, once we were pitched and had a good nights rest, it looked very different the day after. Some of the middle pitches are concreted, and under shade, and don\'t look over attractive - but are great for motorhomes. We had a large pitch on the outer area of the site, and it was great. Plenty of sun, and fortunately good shade, as when we were there in June it was 30 degrees for most of the week. What makes this site so good is that they have a small supermarket on site, and a fabulous bar and restaurant, where the food is first class. The area is absolutely great for cycling, both along the canal, and through little villages. (We do have electric bikes!!!). Great staff on site, and would highly recommend.

Mud and wine!

We came across this place quite by chance as we had had a terrible day with some vehicle issues. On arrival the owner refused to accept the ACSI card and said it was only valid if we booked a stay online via ACSI (How - as I cant see a way to book online this way?).

It was pitch black when we arrived and we were shown the pitches - we had booked and paid for a hard standing pitch but we were advised it was too muddy. That was an understatement - it was terrible as there had been torrential rains. We ended up parking on the road within the site and one of the guys brought over an extra long cable.

The highlight was the lovely restuarant where we and our 2 dogs were welcomed and we had a lovely meal and the owners were lovely.

The shop looked amazing and very well stocked.

If the ACSI issue was sorted out, and was accepted and the mud issue fixed this would have been a 10 out of 10 for us.

We initially booked for 2 nights as a stopover site. Made the mistake of coming off A6 at junction 22 instead of travelling further towards Auxerre so faced with single track rural roads for several miles so would avoid that next time! The bridges over the canal and river were absolutely fine for our 7.3 metre caravan both in and out. Such a pretty area. On site everything was excellent - didn\'t use facilities as we use our own - but they looked good. The shop and restaurant were both open in October as they both serve the local area as well as the site and were both excellent. The owners were away during our visit but the staff we met were all outstanding and each one of them made us feel so very welcome. Tor in reception, Mike the lovely chef and Loulou (?) together with his gorgeous family were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We finally stayed for 7 nights and will definitely return next year. .

Fabulous campsite. Very friendly welcome from Zak and his team. Excellent pitch, good toilet and showers. Bar and restaurant on site, plus his mini market provides everything you could want including great fresh-baked bread or croissants. Great walking or cycling from the site.
