Excellent. Wonderful staff on this site. Arranged everything when the battery failed in my motorhome. Got a local garage to come and replace the battery. Brilliant. Very efficient local Garage near the Chateau.

nice quiet site beside river, excellent shower block, toilets with seats and paper. Good restaurant on site.

We have been going to Le Moulin Fort for the past 8 years initially on a whim and when it was with it's original owners. SInce the change in management Christele & Patrice have made such improvements that we are going to be storing our caravan there in the future as we love the site so much. The new restaurant has amazing locally sourced produce, they are upgrading the wi-fi and are slowly getting to renovate the rest of the site. They take pride in everything they do and treat everyone as family. They and there team are so helpful they go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a wonderful time whilst staying there, even if it is just for an overnight stop. We have made so many friends there that we now meet up on a yearly basis and will continue to do so as long as we can.

I stayed in September. the place was surprisingly busy and with a lot of english people too. nice sized pitches, level and on the bank of the river. advised not to let the dogs go into the river due to the presence of cynobacteria which is a problem in the rivers at this time of year (no fault of the campsite). lovely walks along the river. Chenonceau is very close, either walk (30 min) or very easy cycle, and very worth the visit. Blere is a little town about 30min cycle ride away.
lots of hot-air balloons in the area with several takeoff and landing sites nearby, with the aim being to fly over Chenonceau
i personally wouldn't recommend the restaurant unless you are really stuck. the food is basic - pizza/pasta/burger fair - but it is busy, the staff are friendly enough and it's good for an evening's relax.
there is a pool on site and it was open, but I didn't get chance to use it.

We stayed 5 nights. There is a lovely cycle path along the river from near the site to Blere which is about a half hour cycle to supermarkets. On the banks of the river Cher which offers boat hire, kayaking etc but these were closed in September. Chateau Chenonceaux is a 10 min cycle ride and worth visiting. Several other chateaux nearby but possibly more driveable than cyclable (50 mins - 1 hr + on a bike). The toilets and showers were dirty. More a fault of the users than the site but we decided to use our van instead. The site has lovely fresh bread every morning and the restaurant was a godsend. Not gourmet food but reasonably priced, good service and a nice ambience. Avoid ordering red wine unless you want it chilled though!! They keep it in the fridge

Nice site offering good sized pitches. Near to lovely Chenonceaux which has an amazing chateau, well worth visiting. We had bicycles so an easy cycle route into the town .Campsite is on the river with some pitches beside the river.
Nice swimming pool.
Great little restaurant on site offering some really nice ( and well priced) food.
Toilet and shower facilities were okay. Toilet paper provided in a central location ( not in each cubicle).
Overall a good stay and I would recommend the site. We stayed in June for 3 nights.

both pools completely re done, now with internal steps (no ladder) and excellent. one of the best sites you will visit. Great location by River cher near Chenonceau chateau and walks and cycle routes on minor roads and river paths. toilets and showers could be better but are segregated, but in same block. restaurant always busy with locals visiting, good beer and fresh bread pre-ordered. second visit for us and we have seen good improvements hence why we rate this site highly...

A large campsite with two toilet blocks. Large pitches. Very popular for cycle campers as the site is next to good cycle routes. The campsite is on the river Chere.
You can order bread from the epicerie daily. There is a large restaurant open to the public as well as campers. Live music every Saturday which finished at 10pm.
Within walking distance of the Chateau at Chenonceaux, you need to book ahead, but well worth the visit as it\'s one of the best. A nice outdoor swimming pool.
The let down for us was the lack of cleaning in the facilities. My husband found that both the urinals and chemical disposal areas were dirty. Dead insects on shower cubicle walls aren\'t removed.
The restaurant has a good reputation, it\'s a shame the same care cannot be taken in the camping facilities. However, we would visit again if travelling in that area.

Lovely camping site, friendly reception

The sanitary facilities are a bit tatty, but clean except the chemical WC disposal point which was disgusting as it was on another occasion we stayed.
Beautiful location. Balloons taking off in morning just across the river an amazing sight.
Nice bar and restaurant.

A wonderful warm welcome from the reception and clear instructions where to go. Close the the chateau at Chenonceaux an easy bike ride away. We enjoyed fresh bread and croissants in the morning and local ice cream mid afternoon!
My only complaint was the swimming pool - the stairs are so difficult to use as an older visitor and keen swimmer - I struggled to get out of the pool!
