We stayed for one night on our way South. Great pitch with plenty of room. Shower facilities etc spotlessly clean, but no soap for handwashing. Plenty of hot water. we didn’t explore so can’t comment on the area.

Very efficient and welcoming site set in lovely surroundings. Modern and clean Sanitaire. Close to an attractive village (no shop/bar) and a pleasant lake, but otherwise not much to do in the area.

Nice situation. plots quite level, nicely spaced, and separated with hedges. Some plots were quite bare with little grass (this is before high season). The plots needed a general tidy up - grass cutting and edge of riverbank. Reception staff very helpful. Toilet block new, clean and tidy. Pool, small but lovely. Chemical toilet emptying quite a distance from some plots and only one.

Spent 2 nights here, very peaceful & calm. Amelie on reception was very friendly. Did an 8km walk around the area, lovely through villages & woods. Facilities spotless & bar/pizza night was an added bonus, fabulous takeaway food. Highly recommend.

Site Access (5m x 2m Camper) was good. Check In was OK
We were using this as stopover so did not explore surroundings.
The campsite looked as if it was being revamped in places with a mixture of old and new facilities. Pitch Slope. We were allocated a pitch under a group of large old trees on a group of sloping pitches with no pitch divisions. Pitch Electricity / water was ok. Showers and Toilets were in a new compact block. We did not explore Restaurant/Cafe options or Groceries or Bread. There was a small open air pool.

Plenty of cycling from this lovely site which is still being developing by the owners. Easy walk into a small village which was very pretty but had no facilities.. Some local produce on sale and the owners were trying hard to learn more English.

We stayed here for three nights, it’s a lovely clean site with level pitches. The lady who checked us in, Amelie, was very welcoming and friendly. We had some torrential rain yet the pitches and paths were not water logged or flooded at all, the surface drainage obviously worked.
The cycle paths to and around Lac du Der are excellent.

  • From the southern ring road of St. Dizier take D184 towards Troyes after a few kilometres D2 towards Wassy. Past Humbécourt then after about 4 km turn right towards Louvement (3 km). Follow signs.
