Very well-kept campsite with modern and clean toilet facilities at the edge of Fontainebleau on a 4-hectare site. You camp in a natural green area amid the countryside. There are numerous activities to participate in, including sports and water sports, in the area as well as at the campsite itself. On the meadow in front of reception is a charming terrace and a food truck with snacks and pizzas.

Camping La Rivière Dorée is a campsite with 160 touring pitches. A perfect stopover site but stay longer. It is well maintained with great facilities, walks, etc., a delightful lady owner too.

Just spent 3 nights here. The lady on reception so friendly and informative. Site lovely. Big pitches. Toilets and showers clean and well maintained. Loo paper and hand-wash supplied. No loo seats but that's nothing new in France. Got the train to Paris 20 eorus return for 2. Great to cycle along the canal.

Excellent campsite. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. walking near river, canal and lake. Staff are very friendly. Food available on site, and is obviously good, going by the people eating.k
