Travelling party: Couple

The site was suitably situated for walking into the wonderful medieval city of Narbonne. The facilities were clean,, but we were surprised that we had to provide our own toilet paper; maybe this is more normal at French sites? It would have been nice to be forewarned.
I can recommend the pizzas enough; one of the best I've ever tasted. The tapas option however is like children's party food.
The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The Le Lagon swimming area is lovely.

staff here are not friendly / engaging. no paper or hand soap in the toilet. we could not sit outside due to the mosquitoes and both of us were badly bitten even though we had loads of repellent. toilets were not that clean and the overall impression was that the reception staff were not that interested in us. bread has to be pre ordered but no one told us.

Travelling party: Couple

This was not one of our favourite sites although the location was good for cycling. The lady in reception was really friendly and spoke very good English. I would disagree with the description in the book about pitch sizes. We felt that the pitches were an after thought to the overall site which is mainly chalets. The pitches are at the far end of the site and in lots of small rows, which are all dead ends. We felt these were also too close together. It appeared that some of the pitches may have their own toilet (a shed on the pitch) but we never explored this option. There are 2 sanitary blocks but one had been taken out of operation. The other had some nesting house martins so, unfortunately, there was some bird excrement. The dishwashing area seemed quite tired and only tepid water. The cycle paths in the area are really good and we would certainly recommend visiting Gruissan for its village; beach ; marina and salt farms.

We came here because it boasted indoor swimming pool and washing machine. The swimming pool is a building site the washing machine in bits. They took our money before telling us nothing was ready. New toilet/shower room very good.but would be woefully inadequate in season.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

The pool is amazing! My 2 year old absolutely loved splashing about in the lagoon pool, definitely worth booking just for the play area (with inflatables) and pool if you have children. Sanitation block is OK. We were late in the season so none of the bars or restaurant was open but it wasn\'t a problem as we had taken food. Pitches were a bit tight to reverse a caravan into but we managed it without help. The walk to the beach was nice too. Would definitely stay here again.
