Travelling party: Couple

If you want to visit Nantes, this is an excellent site. Tram and bus service outside entrance. Free at weekends. Sanitaires can't be beat. Feels like you are in a park with lots of trees, shrubs and flowers. Great walks along the river Erdre next to site.

Good location for visiting Nantes. We went on bikes but tram nearby. Good size pitches and very good shower and toilet facilities which are clean with hot water. Many leisure facilities with access to public pool across the road. Restaurant on site but we didn’t use.

A great site for exploring Nantes. Public transport (trams and buses) run regularly from outside the site and are free at weekends. Cycle routes nearby are flat and well marked. When we stayed there was some overnight noise and vehicles driving around before 7-00am, otherwise it was great. Drinks in the bar seemed expensive for a campsite.

Excellent, well run site with extremely helpful staff who are a credit to the Municipalité. Easy access to the city and its numerous attractions. You can buy tram and tourist attraction tickets and much reduced rates. A 24 hour tram/transport ticket for 4 people - so well worth buying in advance. Would use again.

Great local near town centre but in quiet surroundings and on a tram route into the centre. Great pitches for even the biggest outfits with trees and hedges. Also has an adjacent Aire if on a budget.

Excellent campsite for visiting Nantes. Tram line just outside main entrance. Very user friendly. Free public transport travel at weekends. Lovely park adjacent to campsite for cycling and walking. Bar restaurant limited opening as we visited in September 2022. We were able to bring our dog on the tram - rule is of u can carry your pet u can bring on public transport. ⁷ Very close to city centre for cycling. With ACSI card rates very reasonable for site on outskirts of large city. Would definitely return.

Well maintained site. All emplacements good. Excellent reception staff. Not enough pitches for demand in early September (the Aire alongside was full too). No places left at about 16:00 on a Sunday afternoon. Thankfully I had booked ahead, following the advice from another review (the ACSI booking site did not work, but the campsite’s website did). Easy tram ride into town with a stop less than 100m from site. Lots to see there! Remarkably noisy owls at dusk! Disappointing early evening service at the restaurant. A sign said that they were short-staffed because of Covid, but only four or five other tables were occupied. We walked out after ten minutes. The waitress had still not acknowledged our presence nor even made eye contact. However we ate very well at Berlin 1989, just off the roundabout, a couple of minutes walk away past the tram stop. Buzzing atmosphere, excellent and enthusiastic service, nice food. We went straight there for our second evening.
