Nice campsite, pitches very good size, most had tree coverage.
Toilets were clean but showers could do with some repairs/updating.
staff are reception very very helpful.
approx 20 min walk along river to village.
Swimming pool area looked good but weather wasn’t good enough for us to use it.
Access to site and route in very easy.
Added child friendliness review because this website requires 5 categories to be reviewed, look like plants for kids to do in high season.

We found the site well organised and cared for. The staff were always pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to help us with a car breakdown. There are good sized pitches and we benefitted from a serviced pitch. Although there are chalets to rent they do not overwhelm the site. My husband enjoyed the fishing lake which was included in the pitch price. We noted a large football field and other activities for children but did not make use of them.
There are walking and cycling routes from the campsite including a walk along the river into Brissac which has an excellent weekly market and a chateau to visit. There is an activities park opposite the campsite.
They were very flexible about us extending our stay.

This is a lovely site which we have visited before. Despite it being the last week they were open this year everything was still good, The restaurant was closed but the shop in the reception area was still well stocked with most things you need & you could still order bread and croissants for the morning. The staff are all very helpful and speak English. The toilets & showers etc were spotlessly clean. The fishing pond is also a great asset as my husband could enjoy his hobby. There are lovely walks in the area & the town of Brissac is within walkable distance .
A lovely relaxing site & area which we will be visiting again.

Travelling party: Seniors

We are retired, so have no children and are not interested in entertainment but both are available. We travelled out of the school holiday season. For us it was perfect, excellent facilities, plots, pool and English speaking staff. We were in Le Mans at the races and decided to move on and as we had stayed before we decided it would be the perfect place. We brought several other couples looking to move on from Le Mans with us. Who thanked us for recommending such a lovely site.

Great stay good size pitch Great stay good size pitch and we were able to choose. Dissapointed that there was no bar just a restaurant which opened 5.30 usually closed by 10pm 6 days per week.

What a lovely, peaceful site. Hard to decide what we liked best: - wildlife is positively encouraged resulting in a wide range of birdsong. Added to that was the sound of croaking frogs from the fishing pond (don\'t pitch up too near the pond if you\'re a light sleeper) - large, tidy pitches - friendly, helpful staff - a 10 minute cycle or 20 minutes walk into the lovely town of Brissac with its chataeu, pleasant parkland and good places to eat. - the energetic maintenance/cleaning team who kept the site and facilities spotles

Staff friendly, but showers were cold. Restaurant was shut on Tuesday in August when we were there. Covered pool was good. A few large twin axle caravans were being towed by white vans in and out at speed past our pitch which was out of order.
