Beautiful campsite right on the beach
Lovely and clean toilets and showers
Plenty of room around the pool.
Nice bar service food and you can also have takeaways.

This site is very well placed for enjoying all that Fouras has to offer: a nice beach, an attractive and lively little town with a good daily food market, and ferry to the Ile d\'Aix which makes a great day out. The swimming pool was closed for renovation during our stay but we were offered a price reduction even on the ACSI camping card rates which we were pleased to accept. We were offered a free choice of pitch and the choice is huge and varied as it is a large site. We will gladly return some time in the future.

Unable to stay as site does not accept motorhomes over 3.5 t. This is not stated in the ACSI book. Very disappointed after a long drive.

Not good, turned up early December to find that it had closed the weekend before until February!!@ ACSI states open all year. Not very happy after long days drive in the rain. Staff still in reception asked if there was anyway we could stay just for 1 night, rude man just looked at me shrugged his shoulders and walked off eating a chocolate. I asked the female receptionist and said she was sorry and that she didn\'t know of any sites around open. don\'t understand as people were walking around the site. Will never go back, had to drive back on ourselves 2.5 hours to find a site open. I suppose I should have phoned site before hand to see if open.

Stayed late November 2021 for 2 nights, everything on the site was closed except for one sanitary block. A sign on the door said heated but it was not warm inside and the showers were just luke warm. The cubicles for washing had no hooks to hang clothing or a towel and only had one tap on the sink which was hot, no cold for brushing teeth, also no sink plugs. The toilet block wasn\'t the cleanest and there are no hand sinks to wash after using the toilet. The pitches are a decent size but very unkempt this time of year. The site is in easy walking distance of Fouras which seems a nice little seaside town. We probably would give this site a miss out of season in the future as its not worth the money for a luke warm shower in a cold shower block.

Two mins walk to the beach and 10 mins into the town centre, so a great location. The reception was excellent and allowed a free choice of pitch. It was worth driving around to make that choice. Three out of 5 facility blocks were open in Oct. There was a real buzz in the town as 2 indoor markets are open every morning and people gather for coffee in the surrounding cafes. Plenty of walks for the dog (and locals did seem to take theirs onto the beaches in the evening). I loved the shabby chic feel of the place during the low season and will definitely return.

Secure campsite right on the coast. Some pitches have a direct sea view others are more sheltered. On site restaurant and take away but in the process of closing for the end of season when we were there. Excellent varied Facilities scattered about the site, open at different times of the year. Safe, sandy beach 0.2 miles from the entrance. Fouras town centre was a 20 minute walk away and has a daily fish and seafood market until 1300 with an adjacent food market. There is another breach, tourist shops and restaurants and a historic fortress. Stayed for 5 days.
