Travelling party: Couple

We stayed at this campsite for 2 night\'s in July 2023. We were very dissapointed in general and this was probably the worst site we stayed at in our 3 week trip to france. It definately does not warrant it\'s 4 star status. We found the staff inflexible and almost rude to a point when there was a mistake with our booking. The site is crammed and pitches are poor, very worn with no separation, no privacy and difficult to access. The sanitary facilities were not clean and showers in a state of disrepair and require upgrading. There is not a lot for children to do and many took to cycling around all of the thorough fairs on there books at speed and noisily with no regard to other camp users. This was OK up to a point but after 10 we fealt there should have been more control.. There appeared to be no intervention or control from site staff.
With regards rates, the site is overpriced for the services provided in comparison to many of the 3 star sites we stayed at. We found the cost of morning bakery items, the most expensive experienced
Wouldn\'t go back and would recommend you look at other sites in the region before this one.

Travelling party: Seniors

In the middle of Île de Ré on the cycle track network with access to the whole island. Within easy cycling or walking distance to Loix or La Couarde sur Mer for restaurants and shopping. Peaceful friendly and convenient especially out of peak season with an excellent pools d good facilities . Not an all singing and dancing site but that is its charm. Cars not required!!
