Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site beside Lake. We walked around the bird sanctuary the next morning and the hides were excellent but only two open. We just used it for an overnight stop but used the pool which was really nice. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Large campsite with modern sanitaires. The main problem is that the site is geared up for activities on the lake but this has been closed for the last three summers due to algal blooms.
The site has suffered for this and is looks tired in places.

We used this site on our way south and again on the way north. It was practically empty on the way south but 5 weeks later, was more noisy. The residents of the cabins were particularly noisy! However, good facilities and large pitches made it a pleasant stop over. Quite possibly less so in the high season.

we were very disappointed as in the ACSI book it said that the restaurant is open all season so we arrived with no food. we were then told at reception it was take away only which would have been fine but when we went to order the take away we were told there was not any available. However it looked as if an enormous party of young people were all in the bar and all the tables were set up for food. Think we should have been told.

Travelling party: Seniors

This site is located within the very large Saint-Cyr Leisure Park. the site borders onto the large lake which has a sandy beach. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. All pitches seem to have both water and drainage. Our pitch faced the lake and as the lake is a public space, I think we would have felt more secure on a pitch further into the site. As we only stayed one night we did not asked to be moved. Food and drink available from the bar on the beach. Overal a lovely site worth a visit.

one of the best campsites we’ve stayed at in France! Clean facilities, spacious pitches with water and electricity, helpful staff and good bar/terrace restaurant. Lots of outdoor activities too numerous to list... definitely one to come back to!
