Another very warm welcome from Philippe and Marie. We think this is a little gem of a site, very peaceful. Facilities are a little dated by some sites standards but always spotlessly clean. Everything we need here. Extra special thanks to Philippe for printing a 35 page doc we needed to sign and return. We will definitely be back again.

The owners makes staying here a fabulous experience. they obviously care about the site and make sure you are happy with your stay. all facilities good and clean. Good privacy and level pitches if a little muddy due to all the wet weather recently. would definitely stay here again. nearby Pont de Vaux well worth a visit.

What a fabulous little campsite? The moment you arrive, you can tell that it is a place loved by the owners who have gone to great lengths to make it a place of calm and peace. There are original features everywhere. Practically, everything is great. Huge pitches, good sanitaires (cleaned to within an inch of their lives), small but well kept pool and the most helpful owner I have ever met. Even after a huge storm, the place drains and dries quickly. The pitches mostly have shade as well as sun - excellent, considering the heat we have experienced this summer. Pitches around the perimeter of the site have views over the fields, whilst central pitches are more enclosed by trees. Long cables needed. Water is available at taps positioned around the site. Disabled facilities are perfect. Loo paper is supplied. Washing lines available. Bread etc in the morning if you order it. Vintage caravan has a mini library and a shaded cushioned seating area next to it.The site is favoured by the Dutch - apparently it’s a half way stop between the Netherlands and Spain. If we are in the area, we would certainly use this site again, it’s our type of campsite!

This site is a real oasis of peace and calm. Philippe and Marie are excellent hosts and have created a lovely environment with seats and flowers throughout the site. Pitches are large, flat and sheltered. Showers, hand basins and washing up sinks all have hot water. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it did look lovely. We rarely go back to sites, but will definitely be back here.

This is a fabulous campsite, if you want somewhere for peace and quiet this is it! The site is extremely well looked after and maintained, the swimming pool was very welcome in the heat! The pitches are large and discreet, we will be returning!

An excellent stopover or long term destination camp. It is a real gem with excellent owners, helpful and friendly. the camp is maintained to a very high standard. If you do not have additional transport stocking up before arrival is advised, bread is available on site. They do have a small snack shack . The pool is small but very clean and inviting. A site which we will visit again.

We loved this site! It\'s a small site with a very friendly owner and although his english wasn\'t very good he managed to make us feel welcome. The toilet blocks were very well maintained. The swimming pool is small but very refreshing in the heat of the day. The owners put their mark on the site with ornamental features; seating areas; book club caravan; etc. Free wifi available at reception for accessing email etc. Supermarket a short cycle ride away. Good cycle route through country roads to Pont de Vaux. Campsite not far from motorway so useful as a stop over or just to chill for a few days.

A small but very friendly site with large grass pitches broken up with hedges and trees so there is a selection of sunny and shaded spots. We were the only visitors when we arrived so we were able to pick where we wanted to stay. The wine from the shop is recommended and we enjoyed the fresh bread, croissants and pain-au-chocolate we could order. A supermarket with petrol station are available close by and the town of Pont du Vaux provides pretty much everything you may need. Owners of this site are what really make it. Despite my limited French we managed to communicate and they couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely couple.
