This campsite is loacted beside the famous Archway - Pont D'Arc in Ardeche, France. You can swim in the river, hire canoes to go under the arch or further afield, use the campsite facilities such as the lovely pool, tennis courts etc. or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.The restaurant and staff are excellent and it is only a short walk into the town shoudl you wish to get supplies or eat elsewhere.Overall, a lovely place to stay

A lovely welcoming cqampsite with pitches nicely laid out amongst trees. The pitches are spacious, well planned and tidy with electricity and water nearby.

Toilet facilities are nice and clean and there are a number of buildings to choose from.

There are tennis courts and, of course, the campsite is by the river so, if the pool is not appealing, there is the option to swim there or hire a canoe and meander down the river under Pont D'Arch.

There are beach recliners by the river to relax or sunbathe on which is lovely.

The bar and restaurant are very well organised and we ate there every evening.

Croisants, baguettes and cakes can be bought at the bakery near the campsite entrance in the morning so you coudl conceivably spend all your holiday in or around the camp site.

An unexpectedly brilliant site. Only planned to stopover but stayed 5 nights. Good size pitches and great value. Ideally located within walking distance of Vallon which is a nice town and of course direct river access and tiered terraces to admire the view.

We stayed on this site, for the first time, after many other years, nearer Aubenas. The site is very large, with many varied pitches, some old some newer. The site stretches from the access road, with walkable distance to Vallon pont D,arc, down to the river bank, where the more expensive pitches are. Pool, staff, shop, and restaurants are of good standard, with the appeal of the river and its pastimes impressive. You have to do the canoe trip…….well worth the efforts. This is a resort site, but its good at what it does. The one niggle for us, was the 6amp old bollards, kept shorting out with water when we had a storm, for us and two other connected units, eventually cured with a bin liner cover. By all accounts, the newer side has higher power. We would not hesitate to recommend this area and site, and will do the longer canoe trip next time. If you travel here from direction of Cleremont Ferrand, the downhill drive towards Aubenas is very long and winding, but spectacular. Our clutch and brakes took a load of effort……

I have now stayed here a couple of times. A lovely location right on the banks of river with private access to swim plus numerous sun loungers on a terraced area overlooking the river. There are a number of swimming pools, you can hire canoes, you can walk into the nearby town of Vallon Pont D\'Arc or you can simply relax. The bars and restaurants are excellent for a camping park and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. A fantastic base to stay in to explore the region.
