Quiet, beautifully located terraced campsite. You look out over the nearby Villerest reservoir. You can go sailing and canoeing there. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi with views of the valley. Premium pitch with private sanitary facilities at extra cost.

Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed here for 3 nights on our way south.
Really lovely rural location overlooking the Loire. The Chateau de la Roche is a few kilometres up the road, and we'll worth a visit. Roanne is about 20 k away which has a large Intermarche. It also has an excellent market in the main square on Fridays. Again, well worth a visit.
Nice hedged pitches and good clean facilities.
We would recommend this site.

Travelling party: Couple

Charming little site. Bit out of the way, but well worth the effort. Facilities a little dated, but everything worked - toilet paper included! Very friendly staff. Best spots overlook the river. Superb - and ridiculously cheap! - ‘espace bien-être’ (spa/sauna). Well worth a couple of days’ detour.
Snack bar the only disappointment.
