Small terraced campsite just behind the Villerest dam. The campsite is easily accessible. The lake with its many water sports opportunities is located 400 metres from the campsite. Pitches with lots of shade. There is a library for campers. Heated swimming pool. New sanitary facilities (2021).

schnuckeliger Platz. hat alles was b MB an braucht. einziger Nachteil, die Hühner des Platzes laufen frei herum , und verscheißen den ganzen Platz(Teppich inclusive.) sehr ärgerlich.

Trotz Covid-19 sind wir nach Villerest gefahren und haben uns auf dem Campingplatz sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt. Der schön gelegene, gemütliche, familiäre Campingplatz hat große Stellplätze, eine vernünftige Entsorgungsmöglichkeit, ein schönes Schwimmbad und saubere Sanitäranlagen (Reinigung 4x tgl.). Brötchenservice und Fahrradverleih gut geregelt. Das liebenswerte Betreiber-Ehepaar ist äußerst gastfreundlich, behilflich, hat gute Ausflugstips und liest einem die Wünsche fast von den Lippen. In der Nähe, zu Fuß erreichbar, gibt es ein feines Restaurant, einen Strand am Stausee mit Wasserspiele für die Kinder, das mittelalterliche Dorf Villerest und eine Bushaltestelle Richtung Roanne. Gute Möglichkeiten zum Wandern und Radfahren (Voie verte) . Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand und Puy de Dome nicht weit entfernt. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub!!
