A beautiful setting, and the only campsite open this time of year for miles around, so great for both those things. However there was no toilet roll or soap provided in the toilet /shower block, the showers were luke warm, and most of the toilets were stoop and shoot, so sanitary facilities could have been better. Great to have a washing machine, but this price for a wash was very expensive.

Emailed this site whilst touring Europe. Received acceptance email from them stating they were open & had space. When arrived there late afternoon, reception closed, electric off, water off, sanitation block locked! As I don’t speak French unable to contact anyone so decided best thing was to move on! If the owners/reception knew they wouldn’t be there when I arrived think it would have been a good idea to have told me that in the email & explained how I should get in touch. Disappointed after a long drive, as the location looked very nice.

This is an attractive, peaceful site with friendly staff and lovely views of the surrounding mountains. The main village of Bramans (chef lieu) with its bar restaurant and small grocery shop is just a short walk away and is worth exploring as the buildings are very old and interesting. Many of them have photographs displayed with an explanation about their former use and occupants. There are more of the explanatory photographs in the separate part of Bramans which is strung along the main road and that is where the boulangerie is located. There are good off site dog walking possibilities and a decent motorhome service area with plenty of room to manouevre safely.
