Very busy, even in October. I reserved via their website, easy process. Rather tightly packed pitches under trees. Walking distance into city, good walking on wooded hills from site.

Excellent friendly management, helpful , knowledgable and proactive with assistance and advice..Being a great city location at busy times needs advance booking for prime sites which when allocated are secured in your name.Next door on site restaurant serves good value,traditional food .

Perfect Place to visit Freiburg. Everybody is very friendly. It’s clean and the coffee at the reception is fabulous

Wir waren im März für eine Woche am Camping Hirzberg. Zu dieser Zeit darf man nicht erwarten, den vollen üblich Serviceumfang wie etwa Brötchenservice geboten zu bekommen.
Die Lage ist top, der Platz ruhig gelegen, die Anfahrt mit Wohnwagen nicht ganz ohne auf Grund der engen Straßen im Wohngebiet.

Sanitär ok, hätte allerdings sauberer sein können.
Während unseres Aufenthalt leider Baustelle auf dem Camping, was aber auf der Homepage vorab kommuniziert war. Dennoch sehr viel Dreck durch die Baustelle und Lärm.

Very lucky to get a pitch, so book in advance. Arrived late afternoon for a 2 night stay. Had to move to another pitch for second night. A good 30 minute walk to Freiburg. Lovely city with lots to do and see. The San Facs are first class. Staff excellent.
