Idyllic location on a river and (swimming) lake for adventure and fun. Excellent wellness and a Thai and Bavarian restaurant. The Waldbahn stops at the campsite. Every hour there is a free train to various towns in the vicinity.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely setting; very friendly and helpful staff; didn't eat in the restaurant but it seemed popular. Free train travel was a bonus. Toilet and showers always clean. Plenty of shade but also open space.

Das Bayrisache Kanada ein Traum der Natur und Landschaft. Ein Idyll der Erholung und inneren Einkehr.
Ohne Verbote, nur an die Vernunft gerichtet sehr naturverbundener Platz.
Die Leute sind Rücksichtsvollsoklappt das miteinder. Hunde und Lagerfeuer, Kinder uns SUPler. Ich bin begeistert.
Zum Schluss ein Cocktail in der BongoBar - der Wirt ein Idealist!

Travelling party: Group of friends

Schöne Location, direkt am Regen. Vom Campingplatz gibt es einen direkten Einstieg in den Fluss um SUP oder Kanu zu fahren. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr lecker. Es sind zu wenig und auch viele veraltete Duschen vorhanden. Das Reservierungssystems ist leider nicht ganz optimal.

  • A3 Regensburg-Passau exit 110 direction Deggendorf. Take B11/E53 to Patersdorf. Left on B85 to Viechtach. Follow campsite signs. Attention: the access road has an incline of 12% and a bridge which is 3.20 m high.
