A beautiful family campsite situated in a tributary valley of the Neckar, managed by friendly people. Demarcated, partially shaded pitches. Beautiful large swimming pool and decent sanitary facilities. Good train connections to Heidelberg.

Odenwald Camping Park is a campsite with 200 touring pitches and 110 year round pitches. During low season, between 11-04-2025 - 28-05-2025, 01-06-2025 - 06-06-2025, 15-06-2025 - 30-06-2025 and 01-09-2025 - 15-09-2025, the nightly rate is €27,- at one of the 200 touring pitches at Odenwald Camping Park in Hirschhorn (Hesse).

What a shame. This could be a lovely campsite and in many ways is but the gentleman/ owner? is not well suited to a position in the hospitality sector. He is abrupt and rude and needs to understand that his visitors are his business and he would be best suited by treating them with just a little more respect.

You could choose your own pitch from map which stated the pitches included in ACSI price and supplement for premium pitches. Lovely walk through the woods to town and public transport. Wi-Fi and mobile data only available close to reception. Toilet and showers clean. Overall a good site, just a little tired in places

Waren für 3 Nächte auf dem Platz. Relativ laut gelegener CP an einer Landstraße gelegen. Morgens ab 5 Uhr donnern die LKW\'s vorbei.
Schöner alter Baumbestand. Die Dauerstellplätze sind total verkommen und sehen nicht sehr bewohnt aus. Ansonsten ist es ein sehr schönes Gelände. Die Spielplätze sind in die Jahre gekommen. Nettes kleines Schwimmbad vorhanden.
Leider nur Barzahlung möglich.
Das Sanitärgebäude ist ganz ok. Die Reinigung sollte jedoch besser sein. In den Duschen sammeln sich die Haare um die Kabinenfüße. Toilettenpapier ist vorhanden. Auf der Männertoilette war der Händetrockner defekt.
Unsere Tochter kam für 2 Stunden zu Besuch. Mussten für sie und 2 Jähriges Kind und für das Auto extra bezahlen. Die Betreiber müssen wohl mit jedem Cent rechnen.
In der näheren Umgebung gab es keine Möglichkeit mein Hybrid Fahrzeug zu laden.
Der Brötchenservice hat gut funktioniert.
Das Restaurant haben wir nicht besucht.

Wir waren Ende Juni für 4 Tage auf dem Campingplatz. Während unseren gesamten Aufenthalt wurden die Sanitäreinrichtung nicht einmal gereinigt, ein Urinal lief die gesamte Zeit über. Der zur Verfügung gestellte Platz verfügt weder über Wasser noch Abwasser und ist nur mit 6 Amper so schwach abgesichert, dass man Angst hat elektrische Geräte zeitgleich anzuschalten. Das Essen in dem Restaurant des Campingplatzes ist definitive ein Zumutung, TK-Ware und in der Fritteuse erwärmt, schwimmt im Fett. Allgemein haben wir einen sehr ungepflegten Platz erlebt.
