The campsite is located on level grounds beyond the dike. Plenty of options for eating and drinking within 50m of the site. Lovely small harbour. The campsite is constructed in the early season and dismantled again in late season.

Camping im Matsch
Einen schlechteren Campingplatz für einen derart überteuerten Preis haben wir in 20 Jahren nicht gehabt. Lage super, Platz vernachlässigt. Wir waren zweimal hier, das erste und das letzte Mal.
Sanitär in Containern, nicht ansprechend.
Die angeblichen 4 Sterne sind meiner Meinung nach zwei umgefallene Doppelpunkte.

Wir waren zum zweiten mal auf diesem Platz - nicht ohne Grund, aber wahrscheinlich auch zu letzten mal. Der etwas wortkarge (keine Kritik) Herr an der Rezeption war mit der Bedienung der Buchungssoftware absolut überfordert. Auf die Bitte nach der Rechnung wegen Abreise kam die Frage: Sind Sie Gast? ??? Die nur teilweise geöffneten Sanitäranlagen werden nur alle 2-3 Tage gereinigt. Wir waren eine Woche zu Gast und mindestens ebenso lange waren auch ein und dieselben Fekalienreste an den Toilettenscharnieren. Das geht besser! Aber immerhin waren Toilettenpapier und Papierhandtücher immer ausreichend vorhanden.

Der Campingplatz ist direkt am Meer. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Mitbenutzung des externen Schwimmbades. Sanitäranlage war sehr sauber. Auch das System mit der WeWash App hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Top Campingplatz der seine Sterne wert ist. Wir waren mit unserem Wohnmobil dort, und konnten unseren Wassertank mit dem Wasseranschluss neben der Parzelle immer wieder frisches Wasser bunkern. So konnten fehlte es uns an nichts. Nachts sehr ruhig.

  • Motorway A27 Bremerhaven-Cuxhaven. Exit Neuenwalde. Head in the direction of Dorum, subsequently in the direction of Dorum/Neufeld-Kutterhafen. Drive for about 7 km up to the harbour. Turn to the right uphill and follow the signs to the campsite.
