A lovely family campsite next to a lake. Being located on the A1 it is perfect as a stopover campsite en route to Scandinavia.

Travelling party: Couple

The facilities were very good by the receptionists , being both clean and serviceable.

The pitches were reasonably flat, however our main concern was that the general public was using the toilets, and that there was only a very small fence, and a barrier that was left open to provide any security for the site.

During the evening we had issues with the public accessing the site resulting in one of the camper vans leaving the site.

I will say that it is a good stopover for only 24hrs, but after that it’s a new site.

my wife told me that she did not feel safe at this site.
