warm greeting from Michelle, parked on the concrete area for womo with electric. facilities were excellent, well laid out and very clean. lovely Italian meal in the onsite restaurant. great cycling round about.

Der Platz liegt mitten im grünen an der Ruhr und doch auch mitten im Ruhrgebiet am Rand der Stadt Essen. Der Zugang zum Fluß erfolgt durch den Zaun, welcher den langezogenen Platz vom Ruhr-Radweg trennt. Hierfür muss man sich einen Schlüssel an der Rezeption ausleiehen. Ansonsten ist ein Fußweg um den Platz herum zu wählen, um zur Ruhr zu kommen. Fußläufig liegt die S-Bahn Haltestelle. Von dort aus kann man direkt in die Essener City fahren. Am Platz-Anfang liegt ein frisch saniertes Toiletten- und Duschgebäude. Auch am Platzende ist ein vor wenigen Jahren saniertes WC- und Duschgebäude. Diese hat für Herren jedoch nur drei Dusch- und zwei Toilettenkabinen. Wenn man eine Parzelle in der Mitte des Platzes hat, sind die Fußwege zu einem der beiden Sanitärgebäude recht weit. Die Chemietoiletten-Entsorgung erfolgt am Platzanfang nur mt einem gebührenpflichtigen Automaten. Am Platzende ist aber die klassische, kostenlose Ausgußmöglichkeit vorhanden.
