Terraced campsite with grass surface, some shaded pitches. Narrow gauge railway museum and sand quarry on the site. Suitable as a stopover campsite. Caravans do not have to be uncoupled. Bread service available - order and pay in the evening and collect in the morning.

Travelling party: Couple

Fantastic site probably one of our favourites . I would rate it 11 fstars if possible. Super friendly staff including a folder of attractions in english. Showers are amazing super hot and block 2 has huge shower rooms. Wine from local vineyard at reception is great. Restaurant good. Walks and cycle paths from campsite plus only 2o mins to Rhine to see castles and much better than the sites on the Rhine looked

Travelling party: Couple

Easy to find and access. Terraced site but pitches pretty flat and level. As we have an 7.5m caravan we were pitched on the long overnight part of the site. This was ok but our van and awning got covered in tree sap and leaves so it needed a good clean before packing away. Staff all spoke good English and we were given excellent information in English on arrival for the site and surrounding walks/ bike rides etc. We were also told about a local shop (25 mins walk)celebrating 10 years of being open with a wine tasting, 38 wines for €10. Food and music made the evening very enjoyable. Shower facilities were adequate but operated with a token that we weren’t given on arrival. Restaurant recommended by other campers did not disappoint, excellent chicken Jalfraize. Great location to explore and if your happy to travel further afield we recommend seeing some of the Mosel, Cocham and Bernkastle Kues are beautiful.
