Wonderful views from the campsite, which is set on a plateau. You can reach the centre of Saarburg by cable car. The various camping terrains are surrounded by hedges. The campsite, which includes a bungalow park, has good sanitary facilities and a lovely swimming pool.

Wir haben ein tolles Wochenende mit einem sehr schönen Stellplatz in Saarburg verbracht. Saarburg und Umgebung ist immer eine Reise wert.
Egal ob man Wandern oder Radfahren möchte.

Die Lage und der Blick über Saarburg sind wunderschön.

Aber leider macht der Platz insgesamt einen ungepflegten Eindruck.

Der Rasen wird nicht gemäht und wuchert vor sich hin.

Die Sanitäranlagen befinden sich in einem (hygienisch) katastrophalen Zustand!

Der Wasserhahn auf dem WC ist absolut nicht zeitgemäß und das Waschbecken schimmelt vor sich hin.

Die Duschen waren tagelang verdreckt, obwohl die „Putzliste“ fleißig abgehakt wurde.

Im Männer-WC roch es durchweg nach altem Urin.


Positiv:

Der Spielplatz und das Schwimmbad sind super für Kinder.

Panoramablick nur von ganz wenigen Stellplätzen. Hauptsächlich Mietzelte und Bungalows. Sanitär einfach aber sauber. Rezeption zu den angegebenen Zeiten nicht besetzt, hatten Stromausfall und kurz nach 17:00 Uhr nur Rufweiterleitung zu einer zentralen Notfallnummer. Niemand vor Ort. Auch der Shop öffnet eine Stunde später und schließt dafür schon 1 Stunde früher als angegeben. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sprach nur holländisch, selbst eine Verständigung auf Englisch war nicht möglich. Schwimmbad für Kinder toll. Weg zur Rodel- und Sesselbahn für Kleinkinder sehr weit. Insgesamt machte der Platz einen lieblosen Eindruck. Wir kommen bestimmt nicht wieder.

Überwiegend Mietzelte und Bungalows. Nur von wenigen Plätzen oder auf Wanderung Panoramaaussicht. Sanitär einfach aber sauber. Hallenbad sehr überlaufen, nur für Kinder geeignet. Personal spricht zum Teil kein Deutsch, nur holländisch! Rezeption selbst zur angegebenen Zeit nicht besetzt! Hatten Stromausfall, da Technik (Verteilerkasten defekt) und konnten kurz nach 17:00 Uhr in der Rezeption niemanden erreichen. Lediglich Rufumleitung zu einer Notfallnummer, die nach mehreren! Anrufen einen Techniker vorbei schickte. Dafür war auch der Shop nicht zu den angegebenen Zeiten geöffnet, sondern erst 1 Stunde später und dafür schon früher geschlossen. Insgesamt macht der Platz einen lieblos und stiefmütterlich behandelten Eindruck. Sesselbahn und Rodelbahn liegen etwas entfernt, Weg mit Kleinkindern weit. Fazit: die nervige Serpentinenstraße lohnt sich nicht für die angepriesene Leistung. Wir werden sicher nicht wieder kommen.

Eine Woche mit dem Enkelkind verbracht. Das Kind war von morgens bis Abends irgendwo am spielen.
Das einzigste was fehlte, ist der Indoor Spielplatz.
Ansonsten war es eine tolle Woche.
