Travelling party: Couple

Great site for visiting Pompeii but also train station outside gates to Sorrento / Naples and more. We ended up staying 3 nights when we’d only planned 1. Reception very friendly. Shower / toilets quite modern. enough food places outside. Good site for sightseeing. The only downside was the hose kept being left on spouting water all over the pitches left on for hours nobody around monitoring it leaving everywhere muddy.

Beware when booking with ASCI card, as we were all sent to camping area 2, 3 and 4 - which are fields with electric points around the edges. 350m from facilities. there were plenty of empty places in the campsite. location is superb for sightseeing and for train. staff were grumpy. The campsite looked good if you were fortunate enough to get in there.

We stayed before and the old services block was so much better.
Now the more modern ones are ok but not so good. Showers are upstairs and small, hooks are outside and modern design makes them useless for hanging bits & bobs. Toilets are also modern design with water hole in the middle so easy to dirty the back of the porcelain... brushes are supplied but invariably people are people and have no camping etiquette so, clean enough after the cleaners have visited but in a terrible state in the evening due to people of the modern age.
The campsite, however, is a great site and one of the best in the Pompei region - very relaxing during the day with plenty of shade available.

Fantastic campsite for sight seeing, couldn’t ask for much better location wise. Train station right outside and Pompeii. Train to Naples and Sorrento was busy, but great way of seeing other areas. Toilets and showers were great, clean and tidy. Be careful when driving in and out, trees everywhere! Stayed 4 nights, supposed to be only 1 night.

Small, very cramped campsite. The four members of staff we interacted on with were not friendly. On the plus side they have a nice new toilet block and it is only metres from both the Pompeii entrance and the train station for Sorrento, Herculaneum and Naples. Beware they initially would not honour the ACSI irate despite it being clearly marked in the ACSI book as low season. They relented in the end.

Travelling party: Seniors

Pleasantly surprised by the site. It is accessed through a car park used mostly by visitors for the ruins. Very busy during the day, but then very quiet at night. Railway runs alongside, but I didn\'t hear it. There are 2 sets of toilets, the old ones, which should be avoided. The new ones at the back of the site are new and nice. You stay under orange trees (they are edilble), and there is not much room. We were in a caravan, I think the site is more suitable for motorhomes, but we managed fine. Site is literally 100 yards from Pompei site and station - use to access Naples, although driving is not too bad. The outside road is one way, from M\'way, past Pompei site and station into the camp site. Watch out the road can be rammed during the day, but people and traffic melt away on the site. The railway is very cheap into Naples but challenging for less abled, there being no lifts to/from the platforms. Good base for Roman sites, Vesuvius, Naples and coast

Ideally situated for the Pompei ruins, train to Naples and Sorrento. Pitches are tight but sufficient, not easy with a caravan. more suited to motor homes. Staff we found helpfull and friendly, price includes good internet. nearby bars, restuarant close at 6pm, but many open a short walk on to the the main street. The toilet, showers are very poor, and don\'t get cleaned. best to avoid and use own facilities. Would recommend.

Travelling party: Young couple

We visited this campsite during corona times. We would not have stayed here if it was not for the location (which is almost right next to the pompeii archeological park). The showers are merely okay, the toilets are just disgusting. We were with a camper so we could use our own toilet. The pitches are small and hard to maneuver in.... For tents or smaller campers they are perfect (lots of trees for shade). Would not stay here again!
