Travelling party: Seniors

Superb campsite with excellent facilities, though could improve the Wi-Fi reception as it was very difficult to access from our pitch. Good sized pitches. Excellent bus service to Florence and driver dropped us off at camp gates upon return. Well recommended!

Lovely site. very quiet when we were there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bus to Florence leaves outside the gate and takes around 40 mins to get there. Pool and restaurant were open. Bread etc available in the morning. Toilet facilities clean and modern. Would definately return.

visited in mid September as a place from which to visit Florence. Large, well run campsite which was quite busy but not overcrowded. the pool looked lovely although we did not use it. There were large grassy areas for children to play. the pitches were a good size and shaded. The staff were really friendly, professional and helpful. The services were good although fresh water cost 2euro. The shower block was clean but the showers were only ok. Not very warm one morning and the type that sprayed everywhere. But that was a minor detail. very nice site.

lovely shaded site. Very convenient for bus into Florence. Reception staff gave us all the information needed to catch the bus and purchase ticket. toilet and shower block ok but shower cubicles small. swimming pool looked lovely but had to wear swimming cap and as only here 2 nights wasn’t worth purchasing one.

Excellent campsite, clean facilities, lovely large pool, very helpful staff. Able to book online. bit more a night on one of the smaller pitches which was easily big enough for a 7.4m van with awning. Price included electric, water, swimming pool (need a swimming cap, can buy in the shop) Excellent site for visiting Florence, bus stop 50 metres away, it\'s a 45 min trip takes you right into the city for 3.50 euros each way, need cash.
Buy your ticket at the campsite, stay on bus to end of the line, get your return ticket from machine at the bus stop. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautyfull location. Nice facilities and restaurant. Friendly staff. Bus stop nearby to take you to Florence. Plenty of places to visit. Nice pitches. We have been using this campsite whenever we visit Italy (usually every year) on our way to and from the various places that we stay with our caravan either as a couple or with our grandchildren as it is a safe and freindly site,

great site for visiting Florence. a short walk to the bus stop and dropped off at the gate on return. We were parked on the hard standing car park as there had been heavy rain.The restaurant was very good. swimming pool looked good though we didn’t try it. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Not a bad campsite with decent sized pitches. Reception staff very helpful in explaining bus service to and from Florence. Quite difficult to find bus station on way back so instead used Google maps and caught from the stop after the bus station. Toilet facilities ok along with laundry, washing machines etc. The only downside is they have put their price up from as stated in the ASCI book/app due to the cost of electric etc....I can see this is the way many others may well be going!!

Pros: a good site to see Florence as friendly and efficient reception give you lots of information although we didn’t find it easy to get the bus back from the bus station as it isn’t that central. Nice sized pitches on different levels. Facilities are ok - clean and sufficient. Pizzeria alright - average really. Cons: they added 3 euros for electricity plus a further 2 for water! I wasn’t happy about that as we are just a small van and out all day in Florence. And don’t expect a hot shower after 8 pm - the water was luke warm then.
