Travelling party: Couple

This campsite has seen better days. The pictures are not current. They seem to be concentrating on the mobile homes which occupy most of the site. The pitches are not well marked and if you arrive after reception closes at 18:00, it is difficult to determine where to park. We had initially planned to stay two nights but moved on after one. Disappointing.

It had been raining before we arrived and we battled to find a dry pitch where we would not get bogged down. The plumbing is terrible as everything leaks. But it is a good location for visiting Pisa and Firenze as the train station is about 2km away.

Poor terraced unmarked pitches.Dirty with broken equipment lying around. Nearby small ablution block, old, dirty, cracked tiles and tepid showers.Washing -up sinks blocked with pine needles. Newer bigger block OK but steps leading up worn, uneven and unsafe. Surroundings poor (rubbish, building materials, plastic bags etc). Drain smell. Bar/restaurant lively with helpful staff.
Possibly site focusses more on chalets.
Booked two nights but left as soon as possible. Not recommended . Not up to ACSI standards.
