A small campsite with deciduous trees and plenty of attention to the environment, close to the sea. The guests can make use of the many sports facilities at the Union Lido campsite. Travelling party: Couple

My first experience of Italian campsites in this area. First thing to note is that they’re very busy and generally close to being full. That means no ACSI rate offered, instead I ended up paying normal instead of ACSI rate, but I was keen to stay in the area for a few days and visit Venice. It’s a very family orientated site with everything you could possibly need available on site. Add to that, if you visit the adjoining 2,500 pitch Union Lido it’s like a self contained medium sized town. I didn’t expect to like it, but I did. The site is maintained to a high standard and all facilities are good. I had a large pitch with water and drainage. The site is level and adjoins the beach, complete with beach bar! I’d recommended the site, but you may not be able to secure an ACSI pitch. Easy trip via bus & ferry to Venice.
