A shaded, very peaceful family campsite with well maintained toilet facilities. Bus (3 euros) to Venice centre 100m from the entrance. Lovely level cycle path along the Brenta canal. The centres of Oriago and Malcontenta with their Renaissance villas are very pleasant. A peaceful retreat after a busy day in Venice. Free wifi.

Travelling party: Couple

Great site for visiting Venice. Bus stop right outside site. 30 minutes into city. Make sure you validate your bus ticket each time boarding the bus. Also you must carry Id with you in Italy. we found it well worth getting the ticket at reception to travel into Venice and back, plus public transport on the canal system. Saves faffing about buying individual tickets or more expensive private water taxis. The staff at the site were helpful if a bit offhand. The site has a pool, bar and restaurant none of which we used. we certainly participated in the daily insect party. Beware if mossies are attracted to you. Plus the biting flies. All in all a good site mostly due to its proximity to Venice.
