Travelling party: Couple

Reception closes at 17hrs. In this day and age how is this still normal? Was unable to book in as arrived at 1730. Not an unreasonable time.

This is a very large site set in an area adjacent to the lake which on a warm May weekend attracted a lot of bathers and boaters.
Despite its size, it proved to be a good site. The staff were really helpful and the facilities, such little as we used, were all clean and fine.
The pitch we were allocated was in an area close to the \'beach\' and had water and drainage as well as electricity. We had great walks along the canal and there were plenty of bike routes including into the nearby towns.
Overall a recommended and good value site.
