Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Met de kleinkinderen een aantal dagen op de camping gestaan, voor zij weer naar school gingen. Op een veldje gestaan, waar speciaal voor kinderen diverse speeltoestellen staan. De kleinkinderen en wij hebben ons kostelijk vermaakt.

Prima camping in een mooie omgeving. Goede uitvalbasis om te fietsen en te wandelen. Kinderen kunnen zich uitstekend vermaken in de natuurlijke zwemvijver.

Ontvangst was prima alhoewel voor 14.00 uur niet welkom. Parkeren bij receptie was prima. Plaats moet digitaal vooraf reserveren en zelf plaats uitzoeken. Een camping in het buitengebied, een karaktervolle groene camping (KGC) waar zwemmen in een meertje tot de mogelijkheid behoort. 85 toerplaatsen verdeeld in comfortplaatsen op diverse veldjes en een natuurveld. Receptie is voorzien van toeristische informatie o.a. fiets- en wandelroutes. Vooraf plaats 43 gereserveerd (middag- en avondzon). Wel last van geluid - autoverkeer. Prima grote plaats met kraantje. Auto parkeren buiten het park. Sanitair werkt goed maar is weinig in aantal. De douche gaat op 4 minuten helaas continue. WC-papier aanwezig. Betaalde WIFI werkt matig. Stroom minstens 10A. Wasmachine werkt uitstekend. Park ziet er prima onderhouden uit met veel (kinder)faciliteiten. Boodschappen doen in Suurhuisterveen op ca. 5 km in 4 supermarkten. Bezoek aan de stad Groningen is aan te bevelen. Conclusie: zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

Camping De Watermolen is een mooie, kleinschalige camping met ruime plaatsen. De coronaregels worden goed nageleefd en is daarom ook super schoon. Om die reden zijn wij dit jaar 2 keer op deze camping geweest.
