This campsite is stunningly situated by the water in a picturesque riverside village and is ideal for recreation on either land or in the water. Wonderful fishing possibilities. Walking, cycling and canoe routes from the site. Excellent toilet facilities.

What a smashing campsite,but why?

- in the middle of a national park
- great cycle routes from the site to picturesque towns like Blokzijl, Giethoorn,  Zwartsluis, etc
- great views from most pitches of the lake ,hich is a pleasure to stroll around.
- clean and roomy shower block. You need a token for the shower but it lasts for ages
- the surrounding area is like a very mini Giethoorn but without the crowds.
- but most of all,the owners and their team are marvellous
