struggled for a pitch but arrived around 3pm. eventually got a decent pitch. facilities lovely. showers great. pool was lovely too! walked to see the sunset around 10 mins. well worth the cost and such a good site if you get there early enough.

Stayed for the weekend. The place is in the town and very near the market. Very good restaurants and beaches nearby. Noisy as there are sometimes non-respectful people campers.

Bad thinks:
Young children take very noise at night
Not personal security internal and near office centre Camping Milfontes
Cars near entrance the camping and is very difficult to driver coche+caravan = 13 meters

We weren\'t sure what to expect as the last review was some time ago but we\'re pleasantly surprised here. There was plenty of space as the site was fairly quiet. We parked among the trees and found the ground to be well maintained Albeit dusty/sandy underfoot.
Toilets although dated were cleaned daily and there was always hot water day and night at the showers/toilet block.
We used the washing machines positioned at the reception, a 8kg load. Electricity was 6A and could be reset if you tripped the supply. WiFi was really good and allowed us to watch Netflix without any issues. It\'s approx 5/10 minutes walk to the town and security is manned.
We never ate or drank in the bar/ restaurant but others campers said it was good. The pool looked good but was unavailable during our stay as it\'s being prepared for the summer.
I would use again if in the area

the entrance to the campsite is appealing, reception office, bar and restaurant, cash point, supermarket and children’s play area look well kept and appealing. However, the further you go into the site, the less this applies. Pitches are haphazard to say the least, no clear markings, overhanging branches, trees and stumps within the pitch area, lots of undergrowth throughout. Toilets and showers are clean with ample hot water. Washing up areas are provided but only cold water.
The town is about 5 mins walk with an excellent beach area further on through the old town.
There is a Tourist Information office in the town which supplies local maps.
