To miejsce to dobry wybór na poznanie Algarve. Miejska plaża i samo miasto jest w zasięgu spaceru. Plaża jest piaszczysta, bez klifów i ciągnie się kilometrami. Wzdłuż plaży za wydmami w kierunku wschodnim zbudowano drewnianą ścieżkę na przyjemny i długi spacer. Samo miasto jest spokojne, z ładnym deptakiem nad morzem. Na zakupy można udać się do Lidla, albo Pingo Doce. Na piękną plażę Praia de Nossa Senhora da Rocha i jej sąsiadkę Praia Nova jest tylko 4km (jest tam bezpłatny parking). Na kempingu sporo zieleni, ale mało cienia. Stanowiska nie są wyznaczone, co powoduje, że miejsca w cieniu są okupowane, czasami niestety z naruszeniem zasad prywatności. Sanitariaty są czyste, choć z usterkami. Pod prysznicami pamiątka po czasach, kiedy były płatne: ciepła woda leci po naciśnięciu przycisku na tablicy, który znajduje się na końcu korytarza. I leci krótko. Niestety w czasie naszego pobytu zamknięto na stale sklep z częściami do przyczep.

Wow what a location! Close to salt marsh, board walks, miles of super soft sand and cliff walks. Cycling is a breeze. Loved the old village with cottages and cobbled streets. Campsite has a cycle hire and caravan spares shop as well as groceries and a bar/restaurant. Large pool.

we struggled to find an Algarve site you can easily walk to the beach This one has modern security gate that leads to a route to the beach in 10 mins
toilets rather tired but very clean
We could not get hot water for washing up
we managed warm water for showers some Dutch visitors complained it was erratic
Swimming pool ok but tired Nousy building work behind installing lodges. No loungers around pool Could be lovely with a smarten up

Emplacents not delineated mostly but lots of electric points.Quiet in June no problem
Reception pleasant and efficient but you have to walk back to get key for electrics
This end of the town not the best beach cafes etc better on the Western side
Shop looked derelict and site bar needed a makeover.Easy walk to Lidl 15 mins with another small supermarket even closer Pingo Doce supermarket closer still.Very nice shop.

Run down fountains behind bar but there is a lot of potential

Camp site in need of upgrade. Toilets have broken units, only hot water in shower which you have to push a button outside the shower unit. Shop poor with little supplies. Our food again poor, burnt pizza and chips cold, second snack/cafe by pool closed. Pool is a good size and clean but no shade. No hot water at the pot wash or clothes washing area, although there are washing machines. Pitches, no designated area, some shade, level, sandy/mud ground. Easy walk to town and beach. With the ASCI discount it’s an OK site.
