After travelling all over Europe for 10 years in our Motorhome we sold it and bought a caravan last year. We had visited La Rosaleda on a few occasions over the years and have chosen it as our happy place to spend 2 months out of our Brexit 90 days twice a year.

We have stayed at this campsite for 2 to 3 months evey winter for 11 years. We absolutely love it.

this it a sloping but terraced site. some pitches are very tight the ACSI pitches are the smaller central ones. the out edge larger pitches are not ACSI. pitches are mostly gravelled. toilet facilities very good.The staff are helpful and friendly. this site is very busy at weekends with large family groups. the town is a 15 minute cycle ride away. the old town with narrow streets is not bike friendly but beautiful. the beach is lovely with lots of bars and restaurants.

Spent four nights here over the Easter weekend, having booked in advance. You can’t use the ACSI card when you book on line, but when you arrive and pay, they honour the ACSI price. This is of the few campsites in this area to take ACSI over Easter and well worth doing EXCEPT that it took over an hour to check in on Maundy Thursday as everyone, his dog and all their friends were checking in from 1pm. The queues lasted until the evening and it was chaos. It’s a huge site though and it started to empty again on Easter Saturday. It’s a very nice site, a 10 minute cycle ride (35 mins walk) into the town, which is worth a visit. The toilets and showers are really clean and the supermarket is well stocked. The pool seemed to be being renovated which was surprising as it reached 31C on Easter Sunday and it was much needed! We didn’t use the restaurant. The majority of the plots are slightly sloping and was a tight squeeze for our 6m camper. Some slightly larger campers and caravans had to manoeuvre sideways which caused traffic jams on the one way system. Would stay again.
