Stayed in January for a month. lovely sunny pitch from 10.30 - 5 pm. others had more shade or more sun. Toilets were spotless all the time Outdoor pool closed for swimming but ok for sunbathing but empty. Gym had 1 hour free per day and extra paid for spa and indoor pool which is stunning. Bar and restaurant was always quiet. You need Transport to get anywhere - OK for us with caravan. immediately kept site. shame about the drumming around the site every Saturday late afternoon it drove us mad.

We recently went here as a family of 5 in September, the accommodation was fantastic, the staff were lovely and friendly and so helpful, the food was great, the animation team never stopped and were great. Would definitely go back

The site itself is pleasant - if you just stay on the site it’s fine. The surrounding area is dirty and unpleasant. The meal I had was very burnt however the pool looked wonderful. The chap on reception was very professional on arrival. 4 units of electric were included. On leaving (stayed only 1 night) I went to check if we owed any money for electric - the same chap told me all was fine - no extra was needed. 3 hours later I checked my statement and they had charged me extra. This may have included tourist tax but it’s usually less that a euro. This isn’t a fortune but if they over charge every unit it will soon mount up! No receipt was given - I thought they would email it to me.

Have been here several times. The area surrounding the site is awful. But the site itself is clean and well presented, pool is realy good. Problem for us is at the week-end it fills up with locals, families who can be rather louder and more boisterous than we woukd like. Lots of children with suitable and loud entertainment for them. Great for them, but we will try and find somewhere a little quieter in the future.

Excellent all round facilities with lots of cycling in area and places to visit

Wonderful all-rounder campsite. Great location with easy access to a wild beach and lively resort. Very close to good supermarkets. Excellent facilities for all, especially families with young children. Busy site but remained quiet at night.

terrible experience, staff are unbelievable rude and unhelpful, to us the indoor pool costs money per session, pitches are in cold rows that get no sun, the drying machine did not dry my stuff after spending money and 1 hour when I told reception they were not interested so I had to go to a gas station and pay again, the area around site is industrial and there’s nothing but busy roads, there’s a walk to a beach with nothing on it and it’s nudist and takes 30mins, if you have dogs there’s no where for them
to go to the toilet so you have to take them out of the camp!!! this is difficult to explain to your dogs, it’s a soulless site and we will
never go back.

Really enjoyed this campsite with an excellent swimming pool. Cycling around the area is good also. The best so far on our travels. Recommend.

We spent three weeks on the site during February. The site is fairly isolated from shops which have to be accessed along a track. The beach is about 30minutes walk away. The children facilities are both plentiful and varied with full animation staff even in winter months. We were sited on what is called ice alley and if you have been sited here you know what I mean. The cleaners were friendly and the toilets were clean and there was always plenty of hot water. The overflow from the drainage system from the fields runs alongside the site and has become choked up with rubbish and dead fish. The river was full of birds cormorants, herons, coots etc and plenty of fish. The restaurant was good and so was the food available, there is regular entertainment and what we saw was of a good standard. A great terrace at the restaurant which allowed us to get some warmth. There is an indoor pool and fitness area which were of good quality as was the site shop. Water, drainage and TV reception was at every pitch. In ice alley the pitches are at best 60-70M so awnings could not be erected. A good facility was a hole in the wall which was not expensive to use. Unfortunately the reception staff let the site down, they were generally unhelpful or just plain rude. There were empty pitches but they would not allow us a change pitches.

We spent three weeks at the site, it has the potential to be very good site but is let down by the reception staff, they were generally unhelpful and some were distinctly rude. The bar restaurant was good which from others is the first year that it has been so. We had some quite nice meals at the bar area. Entertainment is laid laid with visiting singers etc and certainly the one when saw was of good quality. Whoever claims that the pitches are all 90m needs to get a tape measeure, the pitches along the southern edge were considerably smaller. We could not put our awning up as there was not sufficient room. Processional caterpillars were around at times when reception were informed they had no interest at all. Toilet blocks were always clean and lashings of hot water at all times. The run off from the drainage ditches go into area beside the river which was realistically a large pond having become blocked by rubbish and bamboo. Walk to the beach is about 30 minutes. Would not willingly return
