Camping la Monte is a nice site, situated within easy walking access to both Mil Palmeras and Pueblo Latino.
We used the site restaurant and cafe on a couple of occasions. The food and service were excellent and good value, and the staff were happy to cater for our needs. 
The pools were well kept.
The toilet and wash facilities were very clean.
Our only disappointment was the site claimed to be dog-friendly: there were no grass areas at all for dogs, and the nearest walk area was disgusting.

Camping Lo Monte is amazing, the swimming pools are stunning , the on site restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced , we love this campsite and the staff definitely my favourite

kids on school holidays. can’t use the pool, it’s packed. can’t use the restaurant ( sat down, waited 20 mins, went to bar to order a drink, told to sit down and we would get served, waited another 20 mins, ignored) gave up in the end and went into the local town which is lovely.
if you like to sleep early forget it. crying, screaming, loud, kids up until past midnight, on bikes, scooters, football every single night.
outside tv’s on loud until past 1am. awful. 0/10 do not recommend!

planned a couple of nights here, but stayed a week on a huge pitch very dog friendly
facilities were spotless, very helpful and friendly staff
great walk into mil Palmeras or plays de la horidada - definitely be back ( only problem no dogs on beached)

Extremely clean and well maintained site. pitches are flat and a good size. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good restaurant. Keep fit organised during the week. Pools looked really good but not open while we were there. Area is great for cycling, and there are some good bars in the town. Came for 3 nights, stayed a week. Would definitely use again.

Travelling party: Couple

We were given an awful beach facing the bungalows . Because of the location we had to use our motor mover to get on the pitch. Unable to use car due to restricted space & fellow campers cars parked on edges of pitches and on road. Because of the steep kerbs we needed assistance from fellow campers to push caravan on. Our jockey wheel got bent because of high kerb. Pitches not suitable for caravans . Staff in bar are unfriendly. Paid for 7 nights left after 5☹️
