Travelling party: Couple

lovely site nestled in wood. All facilities are clean and upto date. Heated indoor pool and sauna, games room, tennis court all included in the very reasonable price. If you like walking the reception has plenty of routes printed and free to take. Sunday, we walked to Broadhembury 2.5m each way and fabulous pub as reward. Then Monday walked to Kentisbeare 2.6m each way, sadly pub closed Mondays and walk home is mainly uphill, a couple pints would have eased the pain.
We will return.

lovely peaceful campsite. Very clean facilities and wonderful pool and sauna. We walked numerous guided woodland walks from the site and had a gorgeous meal in the Drewe Arms Broadhembury. We hope to return next year.

If it was possible to give more stars I would. The only thing to be aware of is access from M5, the route from junction 28 is shortest but goes up a 20% narrow hill with passing bays, unsuitable for large motorhomes or caravans.
We did it twice just hairy if anything appeared round a bend. There is a better access road. The site is quiet and peaceful bit has lots of facilities like indoor pool, many woodland walks straight from site, its own nature trail and ponds, reasonably priced shop and take away. Moreover when we had a problem with our Alde heating system they sourced the spare part and a maintenance guy even came and fitted it. All the staff were friendly and helpful, I can\'t praise enough.

The team at this campsite have thought of absolutely everything a camper would need. It’s spotlessly clean, helpful staff, lovely large flat pitches all easy distance from the facilities. The shop is very well equipped and reasonably priced , with a very good selection of hot food to order. Little touches we were very impressed with were treasure hunts for children and a good selection of local walks all printed off ready to use . In this Covid time we feel very safe with all the provisions they have made. It’s also excellently placed for all sorts of activities near by .
